Christmas, Reading Zone

Christmasathon TBR

I decided to take part in my first readathon for months! Christmasathon is a month long readathon, from the 1st December to the 31st December. It’s being run by BookishTiffany on Twitter, and you can check it out here.

You’ve got to choose between Team Elf and Team Grinch. I’ve had my Christmas decorations up at home since mid-October, so you should be able to figure out which team I went for! 😉 The prompts were quite broad, so I’m hoping this list should be simple for me to achieve.

Team Elf

Read a book that was gifted to you – The War in the Dark by Nick Setchfield. I won this as part of a stack of books in an agent’s giveaway. Haven’t gotten around to it yet, so I’m looking forward to.

Santa’s Workshop

Buddy read a book with someone – Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo. Books and Tea are reading it as the readalong this month, so I’ll join in!

Happy Holidays

Read a book that gives you the holiday spirit – I’m ashamed to say I didn’t know there was a book of this, but now that I do know, I need to read. I love the film, and the book has to be better, right?

Deck the Halls

Read a book with red, green, silver, white or gold on the cover – This is one of those I’ve been meaning to read forever, and the cover is not only got red on it, it looks kinda Christmassy too? It also achieves the “disadvantage” prompt that one of the books had to be over 400 pages. According to Goodreads, this is 407.

Have you joined any Christmas readathons or planned your December TBR? Let me know! I’d love to check out other TBRs!
